Students at City of Wolverhampton College raised £540 during last week’s BBC Children in Need appeal.

Bakery students turned out over 200 freshly made cupcakes topped with yellow and white icing, members of the Students’ Union sold official merchandise including Pudsey ears, key rings and pens, whilst others collected donations from staff and fellow learners across the college’s three sites.

Andrea Dill-Russell, director of student services, said: “Students had great fun taking part in the fundraising activities throughout the week and we are delighted with the amount of money we are able to donate to the campaign.”
