HoW College students put their best foot forwardPerforming Arts students from Heart of Worcestershire College put their best foot forward last week as they learnt some fancy footwork with 2Faced Dance Company.

Taking place at Artrix, Bromsgrove, the students, who are all currently studying performing arts at the College, attended a workshop run by the local dance company which saw them work on various routines including repetition work.

Speaking about the workshop Charlotte Jones, Performing Arts, Level 3 student, said:

“We’ve really enjoyed the workshop with 2Faced Dance. It’s been good to work on something different to normal and to understand the fitness and strength levels that are needed for this type of dance.”

Leasha Blundell, Performing Arts, Level 3 student, added:

“We’ve loved working with 2Faced Dance on various pieces of choreography. We wish we could do it every week!”

2Faced Dance is a local dance company from Herefordshire specialising in a fusion of dance styles including breakdancing and contemporary. The company frequently work with schools, colleges and universities conducting various workshops and offering students the opportunity to perform with them.
