Festival fun for all the family at the fountains!

Heart of Worcestershire College is excited to announce the return of their annual summer event Festival at the Fountains.

Taking place at St Andrew’s Gardens, Worcester, on Saturday 14th May, from 11am to 3pm, the free event promises to be a fun filled day out for all the family.

Staff and students from the College will be on hand to demonstrate a number of activities including chemistry experiments, try a trade, live music, face painting, BBQ, and much more. The event will also run simultaneously with the 10th Worcester Motor Festival which will see the city overtaken by over 100 vintage and classic cars and motorcycles.

The event will also feature a number of external exhibitors including: RSPCA, Leukaemia Care, Police Cadets, Worcester Lawn Tennis Club, Acorns Children’s Hospice, Droitwich Lido, Animal Rescue Shelter, Drowning Prevention Charity and West Mercia Search and Rescue.

Speaking about the event, Head of Marketing Anne Daniel, said:

“Festival at the Fountains is a fantastic annual event and is a great opportunity for families of all ages to have a fantastic day out, try their hand at something new and to see first-hand the wide variety of courses we have on offer here at HoW College.”
