North Shropshire College (NSC) has recently held its annual Family Funday and Football Festival; this year’s event was held in partnership with the Shropshire FA and raised money for the Severn Hospice charity. As well as the football tournament, there were many craft stalls trading and the College’s specialist departments came to allow people to meet and experience exotic creatures from NSC’s Walford Campus and show off the spoon bracelets and coin rings produced by Engineering Students at NSC’s Aspire Campus. The event raised £525 for the Hospice in memory of former lecturer, Geoff Farr. Thanks to all who donated raffle and tombola prizes.
