People wanting to study for university-level qualifications without paying high tuition fees can sign-up for higher education courses at City of Wolverhampton College.
The college offers Higher National Certificates (HNC), Higher National Diplomas (HND) and foundation degrees in a range of subjects with full-time courses costing around £5,500 – compared to £9,000 for university fees – and part-time qualifications costing between £2,750 and £3,667.
Subjects include business, computing, construction, education, electrical and mechanical engineering, health and social care, sport, travel and tourism, and public services, as well as broadcast journalism, creative music production, creative video production, games development, live sound and events, performing arts and photography.
Students can apply for a loan to cover the costs of the course which they will not have to start paying back until they are earning over £21,000 a year.
