A first year student studying Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management at North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Shipley Campus, has recently won the under-21 ladies junior champion trophy at the British Grand Prix in clay pigeon shooting. Rebecca Ferguson also came second in the under-21 junior’s clay pigeon shooting (which include males and females); Rebecca is a member of the British Shooting’s GB Talent Programme, which is a development programme for skilled shooters, aged 15 to 28, and regularly trains with Team GB coaches in Cambridge and Yorkshire.

Rebecca commented ‘This was a competition with competitors from all over the UK; it was a great moment to end the clay pigeon shooting season on.  I will be training over winter ready for GB selection shoots next summer, where I hope to be selected for the lady junior team to represent Great Britain on an international level.’
