Bon voyage to Art & Design students

Students from Shrewsbury College embarked on a cultural excursion to the city of Paris, for a week of artistic indulgence.

Visiting the Musee du Louvre and the Pompidou Centre amongst others, students were able to gain an insight of the inspirational French artwork on offer in the city.

Art & Design Lecturer Malcolm Hague said, “Students were able to see amazing art in stunning settings. These locations became Shrewsbury Art School for the week. A truly inspirational visit for all involved.”

Georgia Eley (18) and Bridget Drysdale (16) both L3 Art & Design students, commented on the trip as “…the best experience of my life.”
