City of Wolverhampton College is celebrating after topping the A Levels tables for the second year in a row.
Following on from last year’s great results, national league tables have revealed that the college is once again the best in the city for student progress, with learners achieving beyond expectations.
The college is also topping the city charts for the number of students achieving three A Levels at A* – E at a non selective provider, with 76% reaching the standard – 24% above the Wolverhampton average.
Kirk Hookham, Vice Principal for Curriculum and Quality, said: “We are extremely pleased at our excellent A level results.
“For the second year in a row the national tables show the college is top in Wolverhampton for value added – the measure of how well students did compared to similar groups – and also the top non selective provider for the number of students achieving three A levels.
“This is a great endorsement for the college, the quality of our facilities and our highly skilled staff that help our students to achieve these very high results year on year.”
