WOLVES SHIRT UP FOR GRABS IN CHARITY COMPETITION

A signed Wolves shirt and ball are up for grabs in a football-themed charity fundraiser being organised by business students at City of Wolverhampton College.

The event – in aid of mental health charity MIND – will feature a kick-up competition and FIFA 2017 skills challenge and has been organised by students studying for a Level 3 diploma in business.

Student Zain Ali, aged 19, said: “Arranging the event has enabled us to use the organisational and team working skills we are learning on the course to put on a range of activities students that can enjoy and also raise money for a good cause at the same time.”

The event – which will also feature a tombola, pennies in a jar guessing game and a sale of food, including samosas, doughnuts and homemade pizzas, takes place at the college’s Paget Road campus on Monday, March 20.
