Aqua Restaurant Group Visits College in Search of New Talent

Marcos Kapulno, Learning and Development Manager for The Aqua Group, who have a collection of bespoke restaurants and bars in London, Beijing and Hong Kong visited Walsall College Level 3 Hospitality and Catering students as part of their UK tour to find new talent.

Marcos gave a presentation about the current employment opportunities in the UK hospitality industry and gave guidance on how students can make themselves stand out in the competitive sector.

In addition, he also gave an overview of the group’s history and how they have established a successful brand, available careers, the employee benefits they offer and their internal progression scheme.

Hospitality Lecturer at Walsall College, Victoria Lynn, said: “The students were very inspired by the talk as well as the images of the restaurants, showcasing the stylish and contemporary interiors. We are delighted the prestigious restaurant group selected Walsall College as part of its recruitment drive.”

All the students have been offered interviews with The Aqua Group who operate a restaurant and bar in London’s iconic Shard building.
