Former Travel and Tourism student takes her career to new heights!

Former Heart of Worcestershire College (HoW College) student, Stacey Preston, is flying high this week as she gained her wings and became a member of Thomson’s Cabin Crew.

Stacey originally studied A-Levels at Sixth Form but then chose to come to college to gain her qualification in Travel and Tourism. She studied the fast-track course which enabled her to complete her studies in just one year.

Speaking about her time at college, Stacey said:

“I’ve always wanted to be Cabin Crew since I was young and even though I was eighteen once I’d finished sixth form, and could apply for positions in the industry, I really wanted to come to HoW College to get a specific qualification in Travel and Tourism and further my knowledge and skills.”

Commenting on the structure of the course, Stacey added:

“I really liked the course; it’s well-structured and more manageable; specialising in one subject as opposed to three different A-levels. I particularly enjoyed the mix of practical and theory sessions giving us all a good insight into the industry.”

As Stacey begins her career in the Travel and Tourism industry we wish her the best of luck; the sky really is her limit!

HoW College is committed to providing high quality vocational courses which enables its students to achieve their dream careers. For more information about studying Travel and Tourism please visit our website:
