There’s no ‘I’ in team

There_s no ‘I_ in teamLast month, two members of staff from HoW College proved there’s no I in team as they were awarded a team teaching award from the University of Worcester.

Higher Education Early Years Lecturers Sarah Phillips and Mandy McCully, were recognised by the University as part of their teaching award scheme. Both Sarah and Mandy have contributed to a soon to be published collaborative research paper examining the ‘impacting on learning and teaching of students undertaking a foundation degree.’

Speaking about their success Sarah said:

“Both Mandy and I are delighted to receive the award which evidences the impact of innovations, inspiring and excellent practice in collaborative work with the University.”

The Team Teaching award was made in recognition of the collaborative research undertaken between the university and contributions made by staff from six Further Education Colleges.
